Project Information

Play 32 Collective: a Queensland-based cross-sectoral coalition of Australian leaders, organisations, practitioners, academics, and collaborators working together with the shared purpose of advocating for children's play and youth voice to be a lasting, inclusive legacy for all Australian children, as an accelerated outcome of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

With a strong driving purpose, but it has yet to develop a visual identity that aligns with its voice. Without a brand image, their purpose of advocating for children’s play and youth voice risks being ignored and overlooked. The challenge is to create a brand identity that effectively communicates inclusivity and playfulness while simultaneously appearing professional and timeless, enough to attract and engage organisations, leaders taken, and the wider community to be taken seriously.

The final brand identity for Play32 showcases a playful yet sophisticated visual style. The logo is adaptable for both digital and print formats, working well at different sizes, and reflects the essence of youth and community. All assets I created for this project offer and convery a welcoming feel while also maintaining a timeless appearance.
